The goal of the i-nHANCE Small Business System is to enable management to make informed and timely assessments of their operations. This goal is realized through the high degree of integration within the System. At the center of this integration is the Financial Management System. The System may be tailored for use within a governmental organization since Fund Accounting structures and procedures are fully supported. A high degree of flexibility is obtained by allowing user definition of numero us aspects of the accounting system. Some of these aspects include fund type definition (governmental, fiduciary, enterprise, and proprietary), account segment definition (fund, sub-fund, department, sub-department, account, and sub-account), heading and totals with subtotaling definition, various default accounts (accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, etc.), user-defined journals, and powerful reporting options.
Major sub-sections of Financial Management include: General Ledger, Journal Maintenance, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, Purchase Orders, Report Management, integration with Utility Billing and Technical Services, and an interface with third party Payroll.
